Kalavady Farms is a heartfelt journey that blends my love for travel, my bond with nature, and my father’s unwavering dedication to farming for over 30 years. Nestled within our family’s cashew farm in Byndoor, this eco-stay was born during the pandemic—a turning point that brought me back home after 15 years of life in the city. As climate change began to affect our farm’s yield and finding farm workers became increasingly difficult, I felt a deeper calling. What emerged was not just a stay, but a purpose-driven space where travelers could reconnect with nature and rural life. Kalavady Farms is Byndoor’s first eco-homestay, created to offer meaningful experiences, preserve our heritage, and inspire sustainable living.

Our mission is to welcome like-minded travelers and nature lovers especially from urban landscapes and across the world to slow down, immerse in rural life, and rediscover the beauty of simplicity. Through Kalavady Farms, we aim to spark conversations that matter, create awareness about sustainable farming, and host international volunteers for meaningful cultural exchange. By bringing people together who care about nature, community, and conscious living, we’re building a space where tradition meets change, and where every stay nurtures both personal growth and environmental responsibility.
